With national standard courts, the Badminton Hall remains the
historic centre of the Club. Badminton launched the B&R in 1924 and the
Club has since produced numerous champions and top players, including Olympic
competitors. It’s a great way to hone your hand-eye coordination, keep your
reflexes sharp, and get your heart rate up with this fast-paced game. It's easy
to get court time, give it a try.

The B&R is the only private downtown Toronto club to offer this exciting
and unique game, which is played outdoors year-round. Our two platform tennis
courts offer a great way to get some fresh-air while keeping active, even on
the coldest days. And when it gets too cold you can always warm up in the
Paddle Hut. Its easy to learn and any racquet experience will have you up to
speed in no time.

Our
international singles and doubles squash courts have hosted many historic
events. The Club currently boasts 4 singles courts and 2 doubles courts for
your enjoyment.
As one of the most popular sports at the Club, the squash community is
welcoming and lively. Home to numerous current and prior Canadian, US, and
world squash champions, the squash section provides a broad range of playing
levels. Whether you’re a top competitor or a newbie to the game we have an
option for you.

What would a self-respecting racquet club be without a few Ping Pong
tables? We use a combination of the Badminton Hall, fitness studios and Games
Room for Table Tennis casual play. Bring your basement-honed 'A' Game or some
beginner’s luck to this fun and fast-paced racquet sport.

The B&R's four har-tru tennis courts see plenty of action
year-round. With ample sunshine and a towering wall of ivy, the courts are a
hidden oasis in summer months. In the winter the courts are bubbled and the
Club offers access to two additional indoor hard courts at nearby Upper Canada
College.
Our experienced and certified coaching staff offer a range of recreational and
competitive programs, clinics, and lessons for adults and juniors. The B&R
hosts tournaments, events, and special sunny destination trips to provide a truly
unique tennis experience.
